Here, what lies before you is generative content that I hope leads to an understanding and appreciation of electracy. Using the CATTt generator, we were ask to develop a working definition for electracy from three text: The Propensity of Things by Francois Jullien, The Four Fundamental Concepts of Psychoanalysis by Jacques Lacan and The Cinematic by David Company. My exploration of the three texts is manifested through and within a series of blog post. The Cinematic posts are the most recent and The Propensity of things post are the latter ones. Following the post, I created a section called "poetics", which synthesis the three text to arrive to some sort of commonality. In this case, shi, gaze and montage--the terms/ concepts I found circulating throughout the three books are the terms I used to anchor my experiment. After generating my poetics, I then conducted an experiment that put the synthesized information into question. At the end of the poetics, I wrote an instruction that asked my readers, namely myself, to take into consideration the information gleaned and put into action points and experiments that were radiating throughout the various texts. I should note, that each blog post also has a little invitation to an experiment that is offered through instruction. I invite you to try them out and leave comments as necessary. Good Luck!
